62 Gallon Replacement Fuel Tank for 2011-2022 GM Duramax 6.6L Crew Cab Short Bed

DISCOVER HOW S&B TANKS CAN HELP YOU.
Save Time. Go Further. Get More Out of Your Truck. Being stuck with the OEM 36 gallon tank isn't fair. You spend more time looking for fuel stations, are stuck paying high fuel prices, and are slowed down by this inconvenience.

Do you have an Auxiliary Fuel Tank? Read why using these with our tanks will void the Lifetime Warranty.

The fuel gauge will continue to work however the distance to empty will not be accurate. There is not a way to update the fuel tank size for the distance to empty to be accurate. The fuel gauge will remain on "F" for a bit longer because of the fuel above the float. The float's empty position in the S&B Tank is the same as the OEM tank. Since the bottom surface area on the S&B Tank is larger, the 62 Gallon tank with have a greater fuel reserve.

Note: GM trucks monitor for an inoperative fuel gauge. When the truck thinks there is a problem it will drop the gauge to empty to get the driver’s attention. High capacity fuel tanks may cause the truck to think there is a problem because the fuel level sensor float arm moves slower than stock. If this happens, the gauge will return to its normal position after restarting the engine.

More Fuel. Less Hassle.

Holds 5 more gallons than competitor tanks!

S&B's 62-gallon fuel tank directly replaces the OEM 36-gallon tank without any cutting, drilling, or special modifications. This makes for a trouble-free, faster installation process. S&B's replacement fuel tank holds 5 more gallons than competitor tanks allowing you to save time, go futher, and get more out of your truck! Go big or go home!

INNOVATIVE BAFFLED DESIGN.

S&B Tanks were engineered with a built-in baffled design. This helps to minimize fuel sloshing. This helps to contain fuel around the fuel pick up and prevents unwanted tank sloshing noise.

DRAIN PLUG EQUIPPED.

Accidents happen, but that doesn't mean you can't be ready for them. This tank features an integrated drain plug that can be drilled out and resealed, just in case gas or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is accidentally added into the tank.

LOCKED IN FOR A TRUE SEAL.

The S&B Fuel Tank was designed to use the OEM locking ring. This ensures a perfect seal and securely retains the fuel pump onto the tank.

BUILT TO LAST.

S&B Tanks are made out of an extremely strong crosslink polyethylene and backed by our lifetime warranty.
